Jack located downtown on Sarasota Bay. You can even arrive to
Marina Jack by boat if you so choose, by docking at one of their many
boat slips. O'Leary's,
literally a hop, skip and a jump from Marina Jack, is another friendly
waterfront taproom worth trying. Their tiki bar by the harbor
and friendly staff
present an engaging atmosphere for you to relax and enjoy a beverage of
your choice. Speaking
of tiki bars, Coasters at the Boatyard Boardwalk Shops off
Stickney Point Road has a pleasant tiki hut bar and patio/deck
overlooking Little Sarasota Bay. The
Haye Loft Lounge at Euphemia Haye's on Longboat Key presents guests
with an intimate and cozy setting. Homemade pastries via their
Desert Room and live entertainment complete the setting at this
eclectic upstairs retreat. As far as DJ
orchestrated nightclubs go, head over to the ever-popular Esca on
Main Street in Downtown Sarasota, where
you'll find
scantily-clad
women and the modish men who frequent it. Also worth checking out if
your downtown is Mattison's
City Grill, which has terrific live
music almost all the time. If you
happen to be heading over to the Prime Outlets in
Ellenton for some serious shopping, we recommend swinging by
Woody's River Roo Pub & Grill afterwards. It's a hidden gem
on the Manatee River across from the Prime Outlets at Ellenton
that offers great live entertainment
